Douglas Butler is an (ISSA) Certified Fitness Trainer, Head Basketball Trainer, Assistant basketball coach at Heritage high school, and military veteran. Doug grew up in Decatur Ga. He attended Cedar Grove High School and Heritage High School. He was a 2-year Varsity Basketball lettermen at Heritage. He started his basketball coaching career on the AAU circuit with the Georgia Stars, Team Eat, and Flight 22(NC), sending over 10 basketball players to the collegiate level. After high school Doug joined the Army to fight for his country. While serving in the Army, Doug went 1-1 at the Sports USA complex boxing tournament in Fayetteville, NC and trained as a fighter with Blackberry Boxing. Doug started his fitness training career by helping female soldiers get back into fighting shape after their pregnancies. After the Army, Doug worked as a trainer for LA fitness for sixth months and now finds himself as the Head Basketball Trainer and Fitness trainer at Team 3 Sports.
Doug Butler has a passion for getting young athletes to the collegiate level, tracking weight loss/gain, and spreading fitness and nutrition knowledge. He believes in discipline and uses his military background as a vigorous training approach.
